Its additional weight, combined with directional porting that redirects gases from the shot to the sides of the barrel, reduces felt recoil. The Viper is 2.8 inches in length, has a width of 1.7 inches and a height of 1.4 inches. It comes in three bore-size options — .344-, .295- and .250-inch. It comes in two mounting options for industry standard threaded barrels 5/8-24 and 1/2-28.
