The APX A1 Ported Pistol from Beretta pairs a single angled barrel port with seven ports in the slide to direct gases upward and help control felt recoil. Oversized controls include an enlarged magazine release and ambidextrous slide release, with both configurable for right- or left-handed operation. The optics-ready slide accepts many popular red-dot sights with the appropriate mounting plate, while deep serrations aid manipulation. Beretta applies its Aquatech Shield coating for added resistance to corrosion and chemicals. The pistol is offered in FDE and OD Green finishes and ships with three magazines. MSRP: $629.  Contact: www.beretta.com
