Sellmark Supports Charities

Sellmark Corporation is supporting the Brotherhood For The Fallen and Texas Game Warden Foundation through auctions on GunBroker, raising more than $20,000 for both.

For the Brotherhook for the Fallen auction, a special Phoenix Weaponry AR-15, Thin-Blue-Line Kopfjäger Carbon Fiber Reaper Grip Kit, Pulsar Thermion XG50 thermal riflescope and Hornady ammunition raised $12,225. Brotherhood For The Fallen was established after five Dallas police officers died in the line of duty in July 2016 to provide emotional and financial support for the families of fallen police officers.

A special edition Phoenix Weaponry AR-15, Kopfjäger Reaper Grip, Pulsar Thermion XG50 thermal riflescope and Hornady ammunition combo also raised $9,025 for the Texas Game Warden Association. The group funds outdoor adventures, experiences and scholarships for disadvantaged youth. Generally, the TGWA pairs a youth with a Texas Game Warden and they embark on a hunting, fishing or conservation trip together.

ArachniGrip adds Slide Spider for Hellcat OSP

ArachniGrip, creator and manufacturer of the Slide Spider adhesive slide grip, is offering a slide grip for the Springfield Armory Hellcat OSP.

The Hellcat is available in two versions: the standard slide model and the Optical Sight Pistol. The OSP version comes with a removable steel plate that fills the pre-cut slide, giving the operator the option of using the gun with or without a red-dot sight.

ArachniGrip is now offering a slide grip for the Hellcat with the Optical Sight Pistol slide. When an optic is mounted on a semi-auto pistol, shooters may be tempted to use the optic as a gripping point when racking the slide. This is not a proper or safe method, and shooters should be careful to avoid making this mistake.

ArachniGrip addresses this problem by allowing additional grip surfaces to be applied with the optic mounted. There is also a grip panel that can be applied to the mounting plate if the open sights are desired.
