If you've ever wondered how a riflestock is made, watch how a McMillan fiberglass stock is built from reception of the order to fulfillment with more than eight hours of hands-on custom work.

McMillan stocks, like this XIT stock, are created when a buyer makes a specific request. Whether it's for a long-range target rifle, a hunting rifle, to replace an existing stock on a rifle or something else, McMillan's probably going to be able to create it. The possibilities are pretty limitless in regard to color, shape and so forth.

Target shooters often are the most persnickety, for lack of a better word, when it comes to their stocks. They often want exact specifications or adjustability for the comb or length of pull. Hunters who buy rifles with stocks churned out for "the average person" may not know what they're missing until they use a custom stock.

McMillan has condensed hours of footage into a little more than three minutes, so take a look. It's pretty cool.
