Originally opened in 1977, the Opryland Hotel — later rebranded as the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in 2001 — has 2,888 rooms, making it one of the 30 largest hotels in the world. If you haven’t already, you can still book one of those rooms for the inaugural Hunting Retailer Show March 9-10, 2020, which will be held at the Ryman Hall within the convention center. The Gaylord Opryland has plenty to offer when you’re not walking the show floor or attending an education seminar.

Dinner and Drinks

The Gaylord Opryland has a variety of dining options sure to please every palate. Choose from American cuisine at the Cascades American Café, Fuse Sports Bar, Delta Marketplace or Stax, with an option for some southern flair at Jack Daniel’s. If you’re in the mood for meat, check out the Old Hickory Steakhouse, with its 1855 Black Angus Beef seared to perfection. Enjoy authentic Italian dishes at Ravello or Paisano’s Pizzarino & Vino. Get your sushi on at Wasabi’s Sushi or enjoy bold Mexican flavors at Solario Cantina. Unwind with a drink at Findley’s, Cocoa Bean, The Falls Bar & Lounge, Conservatory Wine Bar, Library Lounge at Old Hickory Steakhouse or the American Craft Tavern.

Relax at the Spa

After being on your feet all day at the show, relax with some R&R at the European-inspired Relâche Spa. Pamper yourself with a massage, body treatments, therapy baths or a sit in the steam room. The spa is open daily from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. and offers season specials inspired by the season.

There’s more to see at the Gaylord Opryland than the Hunting Retailer Show, but we know the show is the main reason you’re there. When it’s time to get down to business, make sure you’ve downloaded the Navigate Gaylord Hotels App. It will allow you to pinpoint your exact location within the resort and provide step-by-step directions to your destination.
