A Closer Look At Delta P Designs Silencers

As demand for rifle suppressors increases, so does the need to separate yourself from the rest of the industry. Suppressor companies are widely known for making small changes to original designs resulting in marginal differences in operation. Many times it amounts to an improved means of attachment, lower weight or just a different means of production.

But every so often a company breaks the mold and does something completely different. One of those companies is Delta P Design.

Delta P Design has decided to build a suppressor that is among the lightest and shortest on the market yet remains quiet and reliable. Its 7.62mm Brevis II Ultra adds 4.9 inches of length (roughly the same length as two flash hiders) to your threaded barrel. Weighing in at 10 ounces, it is amongst the lightest on the market.

Delta P’s 6.5mm Ultra is a mere 5.5 inches long, weighing in at only 7.5 ounces. With sound suppression rivaling others at twice the weight, its size belies its performance. Moving to the 5.56mm, its standard Brevis II is 3.5 inches long and 11 ounces.

Built from one homogeneous piece of high-strength titanium or stainless steel alloy, the Delta P suppressor’s construction is solid as a rock. With no welds or seams, failure points are minimized with increased longevity and strength. The simple design ensures trouble-free operation. Given its size and length, the Delta P suppressor feels and handles like a rifle using a muzzle brake or flash hider.

Having tested all three suppressors over the last few months, the Delta P cans’ performance is surprising given their size. Tested on everything from an M16 to a purpose-built competition precision rifle, they have proven to be some of the most user-friendly cans ever tested. Backpressure is less than many, sound suppression is about the norm, and balance and feel is unparalleled.

If you are looking to offer something to your customers that has tossed the mold and taken innovation to another level, give Delta P Designs a hard look.
