Recognizing the trend in more shooters taking their handgun skills to the competition range, Smith & Wesson has just revealed its new M&P Competition Optics Ready handgun from the company's Performance Center shop.
The S&W M&P Core comes in both a 5-inch or 4.25-inch version and has a ported barrel and slide, a lifted sight and highly stippled backstrap. The pistol also has mounting options for a variety of reflex sights, an ever-more popular option for competition shooters and those whose eyes are starting to exhibit signs of age.
The S&W M&P CORE is available in 9mm and 40 S&W.
